CORPORATE QUALITY AND CERTIFICATION

BFG’s world class manufacturing facilities are compliant with a number of international quality standards, including:
Product Certification for Fire Compliance for Single Skin and Sandwich Panel
BFG’s FRP skins and sandwich panels comply with major fire and smoke safety requirements in line with international building code standards.  Our panels have been certified by an ISO 17065 accredited & Civil Defense approved lab for compliance to ASTM E84 requirements for the following applications: exterior wall assemblies, cladding, curtain walls, building materials, products and assemblies
DIN 6701 for the use and application of Adhesive Bonding for structural parts
BFG is certified DIN 6701 by IFAM Germany for the use and application of adhesive bonding for structural parts. BFG is qualified to A1 level, which allows us to design and build to the highest safety requirements using only bonding as a medium of joint connections.
ISO 9001:2015 international quality management systems
BFG is certified in ISO 9001:2015, which is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS), demonstrating BFG’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

ISO 9001 is based on the plan-do-check-act methodology and provides a process-oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities, and procedures required to achieve effective quality management in an organization.
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System
BFG is certified ISO 14001:2015, which specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance, demonstrating BFG’s contribution to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

ISO 14001:2015 helps an organization achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental management system, which provide value for the environment, the organization itself and interested parties, in a way that is consistent with the organization's environmental policy of enhancing environmental performance, fulfilling compliance obligations, achieving environmental objectives.
BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
BFG is certified BS OHSAS 18001:2007, which is an internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems, demonstrating BFG’s commitment to promoting a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that helps organizations to identify and control health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, and aid legal compliance.

It exists to help all kinds of organizations put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance and is a widely recognized and popular occupational health and safety management system.
​ISO 9001:2008 Design, Manufacture, Repair, Installation and Supply of Fiber Glass Products and Systems
ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
